New Collection Commemoration：150thAnniversary YAZAKI Chiyoji

Yokosuka City has established an "Art Acquisition Fund" to enhance the collection of the Yokosuka Art of Museum. This Fund will accumulate donations from everyone and will be used to purchase art works.
As a first step, the purchased Garden in Autumn (1900) by YAZAKI Chiyoji (1872-1947), a Yokosuka native.
In addition to displaying this Garden in Autumn, this exhibition commemorates the 150th anniversary of Yazaki's birth with approximately 30 of his works.
We hope you will enjoy viewing the many works that Yazaki painted while traveling not only in Japan but also around the world.
